Set your Blogger template to Minima. Then go to "Design," "Layout," "Edit HTML." Scroll down until you see the following:

background:$bgcolor;
Immediately after the semicolon, add the code for your desired background.
That's it! Be sure to use the preview button to make sure you like your choice before saving your changes!

HEADERS ONLY
Click on the header image you are wanting to use. When it opens up, save it to your computer. Upload it in the design section of your blog page.
(These can be edited in your own paint program or you can add it to your blog with the name of your blog provided through Blogger. )

ENTIRE LAYOUTS:
1. Go to Layout, and click Edit HTML.
2. Delete everything in the template box so it's completely blank.
3. Paste the new template code into your template box.
4. Hit the Preview button to check out your new look.
5. Click the Save button.

TWITTER BACKGROUNDS:
- Click on the image above.
- Right click on the enlarged image and click 'Save Image As...'
- Save the image to your computer
- Go to Twitter.com and login
- Click on 'settings', 'design', 'change background image'
- Upload your new background
- Click 'save changes'
- Click on 'change design colors'. Pick new colors to match your background. Click 'save changes''
